Pakistani Bridal Jewellery

Necklace Sets are the most important piece of jewellery to be worn by brides on their wedding, I have not seen a bride who has not worn a necklace on their wedding day! Most brides wear the necklace set that matches their clothes, for example a red bridal outfit with gold or silver with red diamonds necklace set. Gold and Silver is a popular colour of necklace sets to be worn by brides. Some brides wear Gold Sets whereas fashionable brides would like to wear artificial silver or gold sets as they show more look and beauty in.

Jhumar is worn by ladies on their wedding day, it is a piece of jewellery which shows more elegance and more beauty of the bride and really does look beautiful. most brides have the choice either to wear a jhumar or matha patti on their wedding some brides often like to wear a Jhumar on their wedding day and on their valima wear a matha patti so they get the option of wearing both.
Here are some examples of Jhumar's;

Matha patti is also a piece of jewellery worn on the forehead of the bride on her wedding day.It has a central chain attached at the side of the tikka which adds more show to the jewellery peice. There are a wide variety of different colours styles some matha patti's may have more than one chain attached to the tikka the simpler look will only include one chain attached this style is more frequently worn by ladies because it looks more elegant.

A hand panja is a bridal ornament worn on the hand or hands of a bride. Some brides choose not to wear a hand panja and some brides do choose to wear it. Brides who do not wear a hand panja tend to wear big diamond rings on their hands. It is the brides wish if she chooses to wear a hand panja, it will only add more shine to her hands, some brides choose not to wear it because they may want to show their bridal mehndi and the hand panja normally hides this. But this piece of jewellery is lovely to wear!

Payal is a jewellery piece which sounds and looks you can get pearl, diamond bell payal's, also payal's with rings attached similar to hand panja's which you would normally wear on your hand. Payal's come in different designs some payals have bells attached to them because when you are wearing the they cannot be seen as they are on your feet the bells make people recognise you are wearing a payal.
